John Leguizamo to Disappear in Vanishing on Seventh Street with Hayden Christensen

This October, Director Brad Anderson, who’s recent films include The Machinist and Transsyberian, will starting shooting his next thriller, Vanishing on Seventh Street. The film, set in a once-thriving city where residents are inexplicably kidnapped by seemingly nothing, focuses on the survivors as they fight to stay alive and deal with their own demons. This is the official plot synopsis: In an instant, Mankind disappears and in a matter of hours four remaining survivors are drawn together to try to figure a way out of the apparent apocalypse happening around them.

Anakin Skywalker himself, Hayden Christensen, has signed on, with John Leguizamo and Thandie Newton still in negotiations. I’ll have to see how this one turns out. I’m not a fan of anything that Christensen’s done. Ever. Thanks for helping ruin the New Trilogy.
