John Cena for True Lies TV series?

File this under “rumor” for right now, but What’s Playing is getting word from an insider that WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena is being looked at to lead a TV series based off James Cameron’s True Lies. The series was confirmed earlier this year (here) with Cameron attached as producer. It’s still rather early to think about casting as it’s reported the writers have only completed the first draft, but it gives a look at what kind of actor they’re looking for.

It’s also unknown if Cena would be taking over Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character, Harry Tasker, or a completely new character all together.
