Joel McHale in Spy Kids 4

Director Robert Rodriguez (Machete, Planet Terror) is in preproduction for  the 4th installment of the Spy Kids series which will also be a reboot of the series. Joel McHale (The Soup, Community) will play one of the lead roles playing opposite Jessica Alba, who will play the stepmother to his kids and also happens to be a retired secret agent herself.

No word yet on who will be playing the kids in this installment but Antonio Banderas has said he’s happy to come back.
