Jason in snow?

Earlier this year, Friday the 13th (2009) made a ton of money, so it seems natural that the hockey-mask killer will return for his 13th outing, and as a sequel to the hit remake. While on the set of the new remake of Nightmare on Elm Street, the Platinum Dunes team offered this bit: “If we’re going to do another Friday the 13th we want to present something audiences haven’t seen before and one of the things they haven’t seen before is Jason in the snow. We just want to bring things they haven’t seen before,” although that does not mean, “the [entire] movie will not be set in the snow.”

They also go on saying that Platinum Dunes won’t be making an 3-D films anytime soon and will focus, if anything, on more inventive kills in the not-yet-greenlit sequel.

There is a August 13th, 2010 next year, so just maybe…
