Jackman turns into a Secret Fan

Hugh Jackman is climbing on director and writer Wayne Wong’s latest feature called Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. The story is about the lifelong friendship of Lily and Snow Flower and their imprisonment by rigid cultural codes of conduct for women (Coming Soon). Producing the picture is Florence Sloan and Wendi Murdoch with a script penned by Wang and Michael Ray.

Wayne Wong is not too familiar of a director’s name to some but he has done several projects that you may recognize, those of them being Maid in Manhattan, The Joy Luck Club, Because of Winn-Dixie and Last Holiday among many others. Filming has already commenced with a yet to be announced release date.
