Jackie Earle Haley signs on for 3 more Nightmare films

We can only assume the news is due to Jackie Earle Haley nailing the part of the famed child murderer, that New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. have just signed the Watchmen star to a 3 picture deal for the Nightmare on Elm Street remakes.    The film is due in theaters April 16, 2010 and has also signed Rooney Mara ( Nancy)  for one more film in the series as well.

    I’m looking forward to this remake, and I also think Haley is gonna be AMAZING as Krueger, but I hope the series doesn’t go in the same direction as the original….w/ the films getting lesser and lesser in quality w/ each sequel.

    Wow, I knew they were dong the remake but didn’t think they were going this far with it. Crazy to see them already have a whole set of movies lined up and the first remake didn’t come out yet.
