It’s time for Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour

So a lot of us who dig comic books and or comic book movies have been keeping our eyes out for quite some time on the latest on Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Not only that, but if you’ve read the comics so far you know that the fifth volume is anything but the last one in the ongoing story. Now Onipress announces the final installment in the series, being released literally days before this year’s 41rst Annual San Diego Comic-Con.

Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour is the title of the final chapters of the comic, finally answering all sorts of questions that were left unanswered in the fifth volume. Granted, this may not seem like the most normal of movie news at the moment, but the release of the last part of the series is something creator Bryan Lee O’Malley had planned. Sure, for those of us who have been anxiously waiting for the Scott Pilgrim movie, it would not be hard to get us excited for it since by that point there’ll be a couple of trailers and images cropping up everywhere for the film. Then again, it is a nice reminder to stay pumped up for the film which comes out on August 13th from Universal Pictures.
