It’s Mother’s Day for Bousman

Twisted Pictures, the company behind the SAW franchise and Repo! A Genetic Opera, have tapped director Darren Lynn Bousman to helm the remake of Troma’s Mother’s Day, as stated by THR.  It’s said that the will will be start production in July, eye a summer 2010 date.  Bousman adds that this film will tackle timely issues of the nature of the housing market.

I’m personally a fan of his, as I think his SAW films were the better ones in the series, especially SAW II, and we at Killer Film loved Repo!, so we’re excited to see what he does with this. What about you guys and gals?
