Is Ritchie directing Lobo?

Submitted by Melissa Molina on December 18, 2009 – 12:23 pmNo Comment

lobo2ndTryGuy Ritchie is pretty busy lately promoting the hell out of his latest movie Sherlock Holmes. The lucky people over at MTV Movies Blog were able to talk to the director during a junket and brought up the topic of an adaptation of Lobo. Ritchie has been rumored to be attached to helm the DC Comics and Warner Bros Pictures adaptation of the humorous and badass interstellar bounty hunter. Here’s on what he had to say on the topic.:

“Is it a matter of fact that I’m doing it?” Ritchie asked when told of reports framing his participation in “Lobo” as a done deal. “I don’t think it’s a matter of fact. In fact, I can tell you it’s not a matter of fact.”

“Isn’t there a fifth amendment or something?” he laughed.

Well that pretty much threw this project back into the rumor mill as are a majority of Warner Bros/DC Comics adaptations nowadays. Since the film is in the forms of development, which actor do you think would fit best to be Lobo?
