Is Megan Fox the new Red Sonja?

While First Showing is only confirming this as a rumor, but word is that Transformers hottie Megan Fox has been offered the title role in Red Sonja. If one recalls, Rose McGowan has long been the suggested actress for the Conan the Barbarian spin off. Early this year, the film went into another limbo, but with this rumor, it looks like there’s something still going on with the film.

Robert Rodriguez always denied another rumor of Rose appearing in his produced Marcus Nispel directed Conan as Red Sonja. The film has a script by David N. White written. Douglas Aarniokoski, the film’s potential director is also rumored to be out. Will we see more on this film, or is this rumor just that?
