Hulk 2 may have a villain lined up

TIm Blake Nelson  recently spoke with the folks over at MTV and gave news regarding the upcoming intended sequel to the summer film The Incredible Hulk and stated his involvemnt with the film, as well as the prospects with the villain which he may infact be,  based on  where his charecter was left off mutating alone in his lab.

Neslon revealed during the interview:

“I know Gale Ann was talking to you guys about that recently, and I liked hearing it,” beamed an enthusiastic Tim Blake Nelson when MTV spoke with him recently, telling us that he’s on board with Hurd’s plan to have him play the villainous Leader in the next film.

“We talked about [‘Hulk’] a little bit, yeah; we made some jokes about it,” Nelson remembered. “It’s all good, and I really do hope [the sequel] happens, for all sorts of reasons. But yeah, we did, we had a great time on ‘Hulk’ together. I’m eager to do ‘Hulk 2’ if they make it.”

Here’s hoping the sequel does in fact move forward as I enjoyed the film and though the action scenes were pretty fantastic and above normal standard comic book fare (spiderman3) .  I hope the trend does continue to put name talent behind the camera as the ouput is pretty evident and what can happen when effects are put aside and talent is put front and center just as we noticed this summer with The Incredible Hulk , Iron Man and especially The Dark Knight.
