Hoult talks Beast transformation in X-Men: First Class

Once played marvelously by voice actor George Buza on the Fox Saturday morning cartoon series, X-Men: The Animated Series, Kelsey Grammar played Beast in X-Men: The Last Stand. Now, young actor Nick Hoult will play a younger version of Hank McCoy in Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class, coming June 3rd, 2011, and one thing fans were curious about was which Beast will he be. The classic non-furry Beast like in the 1960s or the more popular blue-haired cat in recent years.

Hoult, while at a charity party, confirmed hair. Lots. “It’s going well, it’s a lot of fun. We are coming towards the end of filming but there is still a fair bit to do,” on finishing the film. “Some days it can be four hours getting the prosthetics and stuff on. We should be finished just before Christmas.”

Can’t wait to see pics.

  1. This is exactly why I’m not keen with this film. They’re making obvious continuity issues with the previous film. We know that McCoy doesn’t go blue until X3.
