Hemsworth on the Capt and Avengers

Chris Hemsworth got cornered on the red carpet by MTV for a moment at the premiere of The Last Song by MTV, dishing out a little bit of opinion and facts on a couple of Marvel properties. For those of you who have been living in a cave for the past few months, Chris Hemsworth is the lead actor in the Kenneth Branagh feature Thor, based off of the Marvel comics on the same Norse hammer-welding god.

At least we got confirmation that Hemsworth will be reprising his role when The Avengers starts production in January/February of next year. Check out MTV’s brief interview below on that and his thoughts on the sudden casting of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America. Thor comes out in theaters on May 6th, 2011.:
