Hellraiser: Revelations has a new Pinhead

In order to keep the rights to the Hellraiser franchise, Dimension Films has to put out a new film, and with the planned remake in development hell, another sequel to the classic 1987 film called Hellraiser: Revelations is coming from Mirrors 2 director, Victor Garcia. With Doug Bradley public announcing his non-involvement with this sequel, the mainstay character of Pinhead needs to be recast.

Jay Gillespie will star as Nico / Pseudo-Pinhead, a character who makes a bad deal with the famous Cenobite and becomes a servant of his, mimicking his appearance and presence, according to Bloody-Disgusting. A stuntman, yet not named or possibly cast could be filling in as well, the source says. Interesting to see how this all works, as the film has just started filming in L.A.
