Heigl embraces the Age of Adaline
Katherine Heigl continues her streak of romance films by signing onto the Lakeshore Entertainment production entitled The Age of Adaline. The story, written by Sal Paskowitz and Mills Goodloe, centers on a young woman (Heigl), born at the turn of 20th century, who is rendered ageless after an accident. After years of a solitary life, she meets a man who might be worth losing her immortality (THR).
No word yet on who will be directing the picture, but the hunt is on to find a male lead for this chick flick in the making. Producing under Lakeshore is Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi with Steve Golin and Alix Madigan from Anonymous Content. Sidney Kimmel is also part of the producing crowd who additionally co-financed the production.
Principal photography is set for October with no set release date. Heigl is blowing up all sorts of stuff on the big screen alongside Ashton Kutcher in the action comedy Killers, coming out in theaters on June 4th.
