HBO going back for more Treatment

Submitted by Daniel Herrera on October 28, 2009 – 12:02 amNo Comment

picture-1After two wildly successful runs, HBO’s sublime “In Treatment” has just been booked for a third season. Expected to return are series regulars Gabriel Byrne and Dianne Wiest, both of whom have reaped numerous awards for their wonderful performances in the show. “In Treatment” was based on the amazing Israeli series “BeTipul”, which this HBO version has followed rather closely in terms of story lines. With the original series only lasting two season, it’s interesting to see the route HBO could take between sustaining any linear story or continuing with fresh characters and plots.

Production is scheduled to begin in early 2010 with a release late fall.
