Hayek isn’t going Faster

Submitted by Melissa Molina on February 1, 2010 – 12:50 pmNo Comment

Salma Hayek is dropping out of the new action drama feature Faster a week before filming was to commence, reports Deadline Hollywood. The George Tillman Jr. directed feature was supposed to start on the 8th of this month, but now with one of the lead actors just slipping out supposedly due to pure impatience that does not really help the film at all. The feature is about an ex-con is out to avenge his brother’s death after they were double-crossed during a heist years ago.

Starring in the picture already is Dwayne Johnson along with others like Moon Bloodgood and Billy Bob Thorton. The real question for the Castle Rock Entertainment and CBS Films feature is who are they going to throw into the film fast enough so they can stay on schedule for their set November 19th release date.
