Hawkman getting the big screen treatment?

DC Comics are trying their best to put together the Justice League for the big screen as the new report of Hawkman hitting the big screen comes up from Collider. Rumor has it that Warner Bros Pictures is putting together a huge announcement next month in regards to what themselves along with DC Comics will be conjuring up in the future. If the Hawkman project does get off the ground, you can expect the rest of the Justice League superheroes getting their own flicks together so they can bond together for one film much like what Marvel Studios is doing.

Hawkman was first created in the DC Universe back in 1940, spanning on through years in that comic book world as one of the secondary superheroes within the Justice League. Several incarnations of Hawkman have appeared in DC Comics, all of them characterized by the use of archaic weaponry and by large, artificial wings, attached to a harness made from the special Nth metal that allows flight. Once again I open up a question to all of you in regards to this article. Do you think that they will actually go through and make a Hawkman movie, or will it fall apart in Warner Bros and DC Comics attempt to try and completely trump Marvel Studios in their quest for comic book adaptation domination?
