Hardy is going to Stomp the Yard

“The Gospel” director Rob Hardy is jumping on the sequel bandwagon as he sets up to helm the sequel to “Stomp the Yard”. At the moment there is talks for the male lead in the first film, Columbus Short, to reprise his role. Rainforest Films is on top of the project and has Will Packer producing along with Columbus Short. The sequel is set to shoot early next month in Atlanta (THR).

Short has recently acted in the comic book adaptation of “Whiteout” and will be seen in “Armored” that comes out in theaters on December 4th. Rainforest Films has been part of a number of films, including the first “Stomp the Yard”, Hardy’s film “The Gospel” and “Obsessed”.
