Guy Ritchie to direct DC Comic’s Lobo
The rude and mean character of Lobo, from DC Comics, is set to be produced by Joel Silver and is being directed by Sherlock Holmes helmer, Guy Ritchie, for WB. Production begins early next year, and is being targeted for a PG-13 rating.
Anyone want to see the intergalactic biker kick butt in a PG-13 Guy Richie movie? I want The Real RockaRollas from Guy Ritchie, as Lobo was cool for like 5 minutes in the 1990s. Obviously, no casting is mentioned or has started. Who would you cast as the 7 foot tall Alice Cooper-looking bad ass?

A Guy Ritchie Lobo would kick ass, but PG 13? I mean, we all know that there will be an unrated DVD, but as usual it will be only 10 seconds longer, so what’s the point?
And I always thought that Danny Trejo would be a cool Lobo, although he is definitely not tall enough.

I don’t think they could ever cast a Lobo, like in the comics. I think this has mess written all over it.
I consider myself a die hard LOBO Fanboy but… those producers try to make a “DC Wolverine” movie without an ongoing Lobo comic magazin? With no activ Fanbase? A Lobo movie that suits for minors? A PG 13 rating? -Won’t work!
This movie is gonna fail just like Mario brothers or Streetfighter
