image-12-for-world-premiere-of-the-boat-that-rocked-gallery-820406601Director Paul Greengrass is running off from Universal Pictures latest Bourne feature over some what unknown reasons. Coming Soon states that two scripts were turned in for the project – a first one by George Nolfi and a second by Josh Zemuter. The site says that no one likes Nolfi’s version, but that Greengrass was not consulted by the studio in the hiring of Zemuter.

That most likely does not look good at all for Universal Pictures since they’ve been working with Greengrass for awhile with this franchise. Matt Damon has previously stated that he only shows interest in the series only if Greengrass is on board. Now that’s he’s jumped ship, it’s not looking good for the studio to keep the popular actor.
