Submitted by Melissa Molina on January 26, 2010 – 2:14 pmNo Comment

Gotham Group got themselves set up to option their latest project entitled Dark Life. Although the book has not yet been published, it comes out in May, production is already rolling with Lee Stollman and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein producing. “Dark Life” is set in a near-future world in which rising ocean levels and natural catastrophes have led some people to homestead on the ocean floor. Story centers on an underwater teenage boy and a surface girl who join forces to uncover a government conspiracy (Variety).

Gotham Group is slowly but surely spawning out into a more noticed production company, one of the latest films that was released under their wing being the 2008 film The Spiderwick Chronicles. Dark Life is written by author Kat Palls who is looking to stretch the story out into two novels.
