Goss gets ready to Race

So in an earlier report we’ve mentioned the plain fact that there’s a sequel to the Paul W.S. Anderson film Death Race. Now it looks like they finally found somebody to play the lead to the infamous ‘Frankenstein’ with actor Luke Goss. Why does that name sound familiar to you? Luke Goss was last seen in Hellboy II: The Golden Army as the lead antagonist and also is set to appear in the live action take of Tekken.

The prequel of sorts is called Death Race: Frankenstein Lives that shows the origin of the menacing racer Frakenstein prior to Jason Statham’s character taking up the mantel in Death Race. He’s the right-hand man of a notorious mobster, busted for killing a cop during a robbery and in jail enters the death race and becomes a legend (JoBlo). The film is starting up production next month with a direct-to-DVD release date that’s still pending.
