Gosling teams up with Carell

Ryan Gosling is making his way back to Warner Bros Pictures once again to team up with Steve Carell in the latest untitled comedy from the studio. Gosling will play a suave best friend of Carell’s character, whose life unravels as he tries to manage his relationship with his children (Variety). The spec script was penned by Dan Fogelman but is getting polished up by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

Producing the picture is the Carousel banner that Carell is attached to and Denise Di Novi. The latest Derek Cianfrance film Blue Valentine starred Gosling along with Michelle Williams and premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival with positive word of mouth.

I’ve been in love with film ever since I was a kid. The time, effort and passion that runs through a majority most film is something that’s always attracted me to this field. What ended up happening with my big appetite for all things going on in the industry turned from random blurbs on Facebook to an unexpected but fun job. College student by day, movie news writer by early morning…or any time in the day and night when more news arrives. Working towards my bachelor’s degree in film, what a surprise. I do other things too, like draw, write stories, maintain a social life and feed my pet dragon Lockheed. If you want to know more about me, hunt me down and just ask.
