Golden Globe winners!!

This years golden globes were a fairly predictable bunch though one of the loosest and most care free in years.  By far the most surprising event of last nights awards ceremony was the Kate Winslet factor as she pulled of the impossible and won in both her categories last night with best supporting actress for The Reader as well as best actress for her performance in Revolutionary Road.    Both critically lauded and deservable performances, winslet was only in favor to win in supporting so to have two was quite the shock which you can tell from her genuine suprise and himilaiton in winning the award.  Winslet at the time of winning best actress even mouthed a certain four letter word that the censors would have had a field day with if spoken aloud.

Best Original Score: A.R. Rahman, Slumdog Millonaire

Best Original Song: Bruce Springsteen, The Wrestler

Cecil B. DeMille Award: Steven Spielberg
