Gibson plans his Summer Vacation
Mel Gibson is certainly getting his feet wet once again for all sorts of happenings in front of and behind the camera, and this is no exception. Not only did the veteran actor pen the script called How I Spent My Summer Vacation but plans to star in it as well. Despite what you may think, he will not be directing it but instead to his protege Adrian Grunberg. “Summer Vacation” centers on a career criminal who gets caught by Mexican authorities and is sent to a drug- and crime-filled prison, where he learns how to survive with the help of a 9-year-old boy (Variety).
The film will be produced by Icon Productions Bruce Davey and with Stacey Perskie. Gibson will next be seen in the Martin Campbell directed feature Edge of Darkness being released on January 29th, 2010.
