Ghibli’s Tales from Earthsea comes to US Theaters this August

Tales from Earthsea (Gedo Senki) is the latest from Studio Ghibli, and is directed by Miyazaki’s son, Goro. Disney has once again picked up US distribution and plans to release it August 13th. The film will be English dubbed with the voice cast featuring Timothy Dalton, Willem Dafoe, Cheech Marin, and Mariska Hargitay. The film has received mixed to negative notices over in Japan, interestingly enough. Now, American fans will be able to see if Goro is anything like his father.
