Galifianakis and Rudd look for Will

Paul Rudd and Zach Galifianakis are already teaming up in the upcoming Jay Roach comedy Dinner for Schmucks, but now they’re back together in yet another comedy under Paramount Pictures. The feature is called Will, being directed by both Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton.

The story follows an ordinary guy (Rudd) who lives in a world where people’s lives and destinies are being written by scribes in Heaven. The man wakes up one day to find that his heavenly writer (Galifianakis) has decided to no longer draft his life, and he must go about his day unscripted, ending up on a journey to fulfill his hidden potential (THR).

Producing will be Will Ferrell along with Gary Sanchez on a script penned by Demetri Martin. The feature was originally supposed to be handled by DreamWorks but for some reason ended up moving over to Paramount. If you want to take a look at Galifianakis right now, go to the theaters and see him in Youth in Revolt or wait until he co-stars along with Robert Downey Jr. in Due Date.

    This is certainly a movie I am excited for, as is DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS. Zach Galifianakis is a great comedic actor, but I hope he’s not having too much too soon. Paul Rudd is my man crush, and I will see anything that he is in. He’s a terrific actor, and it’s great to see him finally making it huge.
