Fuqua gives his Consent

Antoine Fuqua, better known for his directorial work in features such as Training Day and Brooklyn’s Finest, is signing up to direct Consent to Kill. The feature is based off of a novel of the same name, written up by Vince Flynn. In Flynn’s story, Rapp battled a vengeful Saudi billionaire, an ex – East German Stasi spy and a husband-and-wife team of assassins — all while dealing with a knee injury (Variety).

Producing is Lorenzo di Bonaventura along with Nick Wechsler with Jonathan Lemkin penning the script. Lemkin’s previous written works include Lethal Weapon 4 and Red Planet. Fuqua is keeping himself busy, currently in the midst of pre-production of the upcoming biopic entitled Pablo Escobar.

I've been in love with film ever since I was a kid. The time, effort and passion that runs through a majority most film is something that's always attracted me to this field. What ended up happening with my big appetite for all things going on in the industry turned from random blurbs on Facebook to an unexpected but fun job. College student by day, movie news writer by early morning...or any time in the day and night when more news arrives. Working towards my bachelor's degree in film, what a surprise. I do other things too, like draw, write stories, maintain a social life and feed my pet dragon Lockheed. If you want to know more about me, hunt me down and just ask.
