Fright Night remake lands its female lead

Yes, a Fright Night remake is happening and the film is building an interesting cast, to say the least. Today, from Heat Vision, it looks like the film has found its female lead in Imogen Poots from 28 Weeks Later. The girlfriend role was once played by Amanda Bearse in the 1985 fan favorite. Poots joins up with Star Trek‘s Anton Yelchin as they think his next door neighbor is a vampire (now played by Colin Ferrell). Look for this film to starting filming soon for a 2011 release.
