Fright Night remake gets a date

Yep, after all of the casting announcements, now DreamWorks has announced that the remake to the Tom Holland 1985 mini-classic Fright Night, is getting an October 7th, 2011 date. Yes, this Fright Night is in 3D and yes, Colin Farrell, Anton Yelchin, Toni Collette, David Tennant, Imogen Poots, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse still star. he new version heads to Vegas and puts a darker spin on the head vamp, who will be played by Farrell. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie.

It’s a good date, this 2011 will be the first October without a Saw film.
