Freddy’s keeping his claws sharp, new Elm Street Images

Submitted by Melissa Molina on December 1, 2009 – 8:20 pm4 Comments

Collider is awesome enough to spew out the brand new synopsis and three new pictures from the horror remake A Nightmare on Elm Street for all of us to see. The some what modernized tale stars Jackie Earle Haley as the sinister Freddy Krueger in the Platinum Dunes and New Line Cinema feature. First, let’s tell you what it’s about this time around:

Horror. Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley) returns in “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, a contemporary re-imagining of the horror classic. A group of suburban teenagers share one common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger, a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams. As long as they stay awake, they can protect one another…but when they sleep, there is no escape.

Not too much of a change right there with the very simple synopsis. Enough of the chit chat, but first do not forget that this movie comes out on April 30th, 2010. I know, that far away huh? Okay, here’s the pictures below:
