Foxx gets into Kane & Lynch
You can never cancel out video game adapted features, despite what you want they’re going to stick around for awhile. Jamie Foxx is signing up to be one of the leads in the adaptation of the third person shooter crime/thriller game Kane & Lynch: Dead Men from IO Interactive. Foxx is taking on the role of Lynch from the Simon Crane directed feature, written by Kyle Ward.
The story centers on Adam “Kane” Marcus, a mercenary who makes an unlikely alliance with the schizophrenic killer named James Lynch. The duo is forced on a mission to retrieve a stolen microchip (CS!). Despite previous reports, Bruce Willis is not attached to co-star in the picture due to reasons unknown.
Crane is best known for his stunt coordinating work in dozens of features, including Salt and Hancock, but Kane & Lynch will serve as his directorial debut. Producing the picture is Stephen J. Eads, Daniel Alter and Adrian Askarieh with a to-be-announce 2011 release date from Lionsgate.
