Foxx and Kutcher take Streets on Fire
Asthon Kutcher and Jamie Foxx might be hopping onto the buddy cop bandwagon with rumors swirling about that they will both co-star in Streets on Fire. The one thing that’s already set in stone with this production is the plain fact that Katalyst Films is attached for producing, so at the least Kutcher is linked for that. The script is penned by Justin Britt-Gibson which apparently has been floating around the circuit without getting picked up for at least a year now.
The story, set in Chicago, follows the two cops — one a by-the-book boy scout who needs some anger management lessons (Foxx), the other an arrogant loose cannon (Kutcher) — as they take on the city’s drug underworld. Their unwanted pairings turns into a more amicable relationship after they realize that the group they’re pursuing are supported by crooked police (MTV Movies Blog).
You can still watch Kutcher on the big screen co-starring along with Jessica Alba, George Lopez and many others in Valentine’s Day. Foxx finished wrapping up his role in the upcoming Todd Phillips directed comedy Due Date set to come out on November 5th.
