Foxx and Fox go to the Jungle

Jamie Foxx combines his creative forces with Twentieth Century Fox to make the upcoming animated picture Welcome to the Jungle. The production is based off a pitch conceived by Malcolm Spellman and Foxx. No real word on what the plot is about, but Spellman is putting together the script at the moment. One hint provided by Spellman’s team: “Life is a jungle and welcome to it” (Variety).

Producing the picture is Foxx along with Jamie Rucker King under FoxxKing Entertainment. Foxx is also starring in this production, lending his voice not only for the role of the lead character but also contributing to the soundtrack. The Academy Award winning actor recently appeared in Garry Marshall’s Valentine’s Day and wrapped up filming his role in the upcoing Todd Phillips comedy Due Date with Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, coming out in theaters on November 5th.

I've been in love with film ever since I was a kid. The time, effort and passion that runs through a majority most film is something that's always attracted me to this field. What ended up happening with my big appetite for all things going on in the industry turned from random blurbs on Facebook to an unexpected but fun job. College student by day, movie news writer by early morning...or any time in the day and night when more news arrives. Working towards my bachelor's degree in film, what a surprise. I do other things too, like draw, write stories, maintain a social life and feed my pet dragon Lockheed. If you want to know more about me, hunt me down and just ask.
