Fox says no 3-D Avatar Blu-ray

If you saw Avatar in the theaters or IMAX in 3-D, cherish those memories, because today on the Wall Street journal, Fox informs us that the James Cameron film that will have a quick bare-bones Blu-ray and DVD on Earth Day in April, only to be graced with a better edition in November, will not appear on the disc as 3-D.

“3-D is in the conceptual stage and Avatar will not be out on 3D Blu-ray in November,” states 20th Century Fox.

This goes against what Cameron recently stated, as well as some of the 3-D TV facts (click here for a recap at Blu-ray.com).

I think I’ll speak for all of the Avatar fans, that this is really disappointing.
