Four more images for A Nightmare On Elm Street
This week is feeling more like were getting horror fever, especially with the Friday release of The Crazies. Warner Bros. Pictures along with Platinum Dunes and New Line Cinema present to us four new pictures from the upcoming A Nightmare On Elm Street remake. The kind folks at Movie God present to us the images that pretty much show so far that the story line is almost completely identical to the original.
The story is a re-imagining of the horror icon Freddy Krueger, a serial-killer who wields a glove with four blades embedded in the fingers and kills people in their dreams, resulting in their real death in reality. The feature, directed by Samuel Bayer, stars Jackie Earle Haley along with Rooney Mara, Katie Cassidy, Kyle Gallner and others.
A Nightmare On Elm Street comes out in theaters on April 30th.:
I love the image of the girl standing in the hall covered in blood.
I hope this won’t be a scene-by-scene remake.

I don’t remember a scene in the original where they were in Target, like picture 4, so I think we’re good there.
Actually from what I’ve read on other sites and interviews, there are shots from the original movie along with new scenes, which could make for an interesting mix. i’m stoked!
