Four join on The Exodus

R. Ellis Frazier’s The Exodus of Charlie Wright gets itself a pretty sweet cast as Mario Van Peebles, Andy Garcia, Aidan Quinn and Luke Goss all sign up to be part of the main cast of the production. This is the second time that Garcia climbs onboard a Frazier written project, the first time he did so with the James Cotten film La linea. Frazier is not only writing the project but is directing and producing with Geoffrey Ross.

The story centers on Charlie (Quinn), a Los Angeles billionaire financial whiz who goes into self-imposed exile in Tijuana after his empire is revealed to have been a Ponzi scheme. While looking for the woman he abandoned there 25 years before, Charlie is pursued by a Mexican gangster (Garcia), a federal agent (Van Peebles) and thugs sent by a former client (Goss) looking to retrieve his money (THR). Principal photography is set to start up next week.

Van Peebles recently appeared in the limited release film Multiple Sarcasms, directed by first-timer Brooks Branch. Quinn appears on the big screen in the June 18th release of the long-awaited comic book adapted film Jonah Hex, starring Josh Brolin. Goss wrapped up filming his role in the straight to DVD prequel Death Race: Frankenstein Lives, coming out in 2011.

I've been in love with film ever since I was a kid. The time, effort and passion that runs through a majority most film is something that's always attracted me to this field. What ended up happening with my big appetite for all things going on in the industry turned from random blurbs on Facebook to an unexpected but fun job. College student by day, movie news writer by early morning...or any time in the day and night when more news arrives. Working towards my bachelor's degree in film, what a surprise. I do other things too, like draw, write stories, maintain a social life and feed my pet dragon Lockheed. If you want to know more about me, hunt me down and just ask.
