Four Brothers sequel in the works

Mark Wahlberg and Paramount Pictures are teaming up once again, this time for a sequel to 2005 movie Four Brothers. The feature will simply be titled Five Brothers with writers David Elliot and Paul Lovett coming back once more to pen the script. Plot details are being kept under wraps, and it is not clear which of the other actors, if any, would return, says THR. Producing once more is Lorenzo di Bonaventura but no word yet on who will be directing the sequel.

Four Brothers made a decent theatrical run, making about $92.3 Million worldwide, pretty good judging that they had a $45 Million dollar budget on their hands. Mark Walhberg can be seen in theaters right now in Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones and can next be seen in Date Night.

  1. Don’t forget to check him out during the summer in THE OTHER GUYS (cheap plug for the movie I worked on, sorry).
