Forster directs a Manuscript

Marc Forster is picked up today to helm the upcoming project entitled The Chancellor Manuscript. The story comes from a novel political thriller written by Robert Ludlum. The story is about Peter Chancellor, who turns in a novel about D.C. power brokers who are blackmailed into altering U.S. policies. When some operatives get hold of the manuscript, they think he has uncovered their actual scheme and try to hunt the author down (Variety). Chancellor will be played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Penning the adaptation will be scribe Peter O’Brien with Douglas Wick, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Simpson, under Captivate Entertainment, will be producing. You can check out DiCaprio next month starring in the new Martin Scorsese directed feature Shutter Island.
