Fischer might get a Hall Pass

Submitted by Melissa Molina on January 15, 2010 – 10:31 amNo Comment

Actress Jenna Fischer, best known for her roles in The Office and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, is in the middle of negotiations to sign up for the Farrelly Brothers comedy Hall Pass. If she’s cast onto the role, she would co-star alongside Owen Wilson in the story about a married couple who decide to give each other a “hall pass” in order to engage in encounters with other people outside their marriage. Jason Sudeikis is on board as the guy’s best friend, who also gets a free pass from his wife (still to be cast). Things get complicated when the wives also begin exercising their “hall pass” power (THR).

The script is penned by Pete Jones, although it went through some revisions afterwards by Bobby and Peter Farrelly along with Kevin Barnett. Initial filming will start up in late February in Atlanta, Georgia under New Line Cinema and Conundrum Entertainment.
