First trailer to Rob Marshall’s Nine

One of the more interesting films to come out this holiday season has got to be Rob Marshall’s adaptation of Nine.  The film which is an adaptation of the Broadway musical starring Antonio Banderas now stars a virtual hot bed of Oscar star with Daniel Day Lewis in the lead along with Kate Hudson, Dame Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman and Sophia Loren. Sadly of the bunch Hudson is the only Oscar loser but that’s neither here nor there.    Nine tells the story of a world famous director ( Daniel Day lewis) as he prepares to do his latest film and the women he has to juggle in his life.

Aside from the enormous star power in the film and the fantastic trailer below, is it now worth price of admission alone to see Daniel Day Lewis singing and Sophia Loren’s return to film?

 

….and yes that was the Black Eyed Peas Fergie in the mix gyrating on the chair.
