First pictures of Peacock crop up

There are a few of us, including myself, that were wondering what happened to actor Cillian Murphy after his brief appearance in The Dark Knight. He comes back in full creepy force playing the role of John Skillpa in the latest thriller from director and co-writer Michael Lander in Peacock.

Set in the green backdrop of the town of Peacock, the story is about a train accident in rural Nebraska that gradually unveils a mystery involving the town’s bank clerk (Murphy). Also included in the cast is Ellen Page, Susan Sarandon among others.

First Showing and The Playlist are gracious enough to chuck out several new images from the feature. Unfortunately there’s no exact word yet on when Cornfield Productions and Mandate Pictures will be releasing the thriller, but here’s hoping that it will be soon.
