First Look: Vanishing on 7th Street trailer and poster

Brad Anderson, the director of such classics as Session 9 and The Machinist, had the trailer for his newest film, The Vanishing on 7th Street, premiere at BD and at the Official Website. What does everybody think? I’m loving the vintage Twilight Zone qualities to it.

“Realizing they may be the last people on earth, a small handful of survivors band together in a dimly-lit tavern on a desolate street, struggling to combat an apocalyptic horror as the darkness hones in on them.”

I'm just an average man/ With an average life/ I work from nine to five/ Hey, hell, I pay the price/ All I want is to be left alone/ In my average home/ But why do I always feel/ Like I'm in the twilight zone

  1. You know sounds ok…but it sounds like it’s been done.

  2. When I watched the trailer I immediately though of the Burgess Meredith episode of The Twilight Zone, ‘Time Enough At Last’. This is going to be a cerebral, thought provoking kind of horror-thriller.
