First Independent grabs Holy Rollers

First Independent Pictures got their hands on the domestic distribution rights to the independent drama called Holy Rollers, reports Variety. The picture, directed by Kevin Asch, is inspired by a true story of a young Hasidic man who was lured into the world of international drug trafficking in the late 90s. The flick stars Jesse Eisenberg and includes the talents of Justin Bartha, Ari Graynor and Q-Tip.

The feature screened at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, so it was just merely a matter of time until this picture with it’s hint of star power got picked up. Holy Rollers is poised to come out sometime in the summer, no exact release date has been disclosed as of yet.
