First image of Evan Rachel Wood in True Blood

HBO has released the first image of Golden Globe nominee Evan Rachel Wood in her portrayal of the Queen in True Blood.  Wood is set to begin her episode arc on the episode entitled ‘Frenzy’ from  Season 3, although no word has yet been given as to how many episodes she will take part in.

‘Frenzy’ will air August 30th on HBO, with series creator Alan Ball describing her character as: “Nobody’s ever entirely happy to see her. As Louisiana’s blood-sucker boss lady, Queen Sophie-Ann is very powerful, capricious, and most likely insane.”
