First awesome trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

All right, a lot of us who’ve read the Scott Pilgrim comics, created by Bryan Lee O’Malley, have been waiting for a long time to see even a glimpse of Edgar Wright’s adaptation. Wait no further, because Apple Trailers presents to us the first official trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Michael Cera plays the main role of Scott, a guy who has to do battle with his new girlfriend’s (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) seven evil ex boyfriends in order to win her over. The rest of the cast includes Anna Kendrick, Chris Evans, Brandon Routh, Ellen Wong and Jason Schwartzman.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World comes blasting out in theaters on August 13th under Universal Pictures. Watch the trailer now.:
