Finally, Some Visuals on Burton’s ‘Wonderland’

March 5, 2010, is probably one of the bigger movie release dates I’m looking forward to. Specifically because that’s the release of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. The “remake” (I wouldn’t call it that… at all), much like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is now based heavily on the book this time. If you’ve not read the book, definitely check it out. But that being said, Alice in Wonderland is a very different book than the Disney adaptation of yore. The cast is the very familiar Burton crew, but joining them this time is Anne Hathaway; In addition, a few other big names also join as notable additions. A complete cast list is on IMDB.com.

USA Today dropped some wicked pictures from the upcoming film today, and they capture all Burton’s signature Dali-esque surrealism. Check them out over there. There’s a few that look absolutely gorgeous.
