Final casting punched for Paris

Since Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris is poised to begin filming this summer in the popular tourist destination, it’s time to buckle down with the casting. Alison Pill, Mimi Kennedy, Kurt Fuller, Tom Hiddelston, Corey Stoll and Nina Arianda are the last ones to be placed into the latest written and directed comedy from the famed filmmaker. They join the pact that contains Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Adrien Brody, Marion Cotillard, Carla Burni and Kathy Bates.

The film is about a family traveling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better (THR). Producing the feature is Stephen Tennenbaum, Letty Aronson and Jaume Roures with Gravier Productions and Mediapro attached.

Hiddelston is getting his Norse god on as he plays Loki in the upcoming Marvel Studios picture Thor, striking it’s hammer into theaters on May 6th, 2011. Pill pops up in Universal Pictures’ Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, coming out on August 13th.
