Farrell and Cotillard find Cosmopolis
Colin Farrell and Marion Cotillard are signing up to headline the cast for the upcoming David Cronenberg film Cosmopolis. The feature, based off the novel by Don DeLillo, centers on Eric Packer, a 28 year old multi-billionaire asset manager who makes an odyssey across midtown Manhattan. Farrell will play the asset manager who loses all his wealth over the course of one day and Cotillard will play his wife (Variety).
Cronenberg will begin principal photography on Cosmopolis after he wraps up filming for A Dangerous Method. The Viggo Mortensen and Keira Knightley film, based off the novel by Christopher Hampton, looks at how the intense relationship between Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud gives birth to psychoanalysis.
